Abstract:
A method and apparatus for measuring the performance of a support point of a metric space, and a related assembly. The method comprises: acquiring an experimental data set, abstracting data in the experimental data set into n data points in a metric space, and then respectively selecting k support points from among the data points by using different support point selection methods (S101); for the k support points, which are selected according to each support point selection method, taking data points to be queried as query points (S102); on the basis of the principle of a triangle inequality, classifying the data points into excludable data points and non-excludable data points by using a preset query radius (S103); determining the number of instances of distance calculation for the k support points by using a bit operation method (S104); and comparing the numbers of instances of distance calculation for the k support points corresponding to the different support point selection methods, and determining the performance difference between the support point selection methods (S105). By means of the method, a support point selection method having the optimal performance can be quickly selected from among a plurality of different support point selection methods.
