Abstract:
The embodiments relate to a method and an apparatus for measuring a Seebeck coefficient in order to identify an alloy, and the apparatus for measuring a Seebeck coefficient in order to identify an alloy, according to one embodiment, comprises: a measurement unit for measuring temperatures of a first contact, which is a first probe, and a second contact, which is a target alloy and measures a thermoelectromotive voltage between the first contact and the second contact; and a control unit for calculating a Seebeck coefficient (S) of the target alloy by using the thermoelectromotive voltage (V) between the first contact and the second contact and the temperature difference (ΔT) between the first contact and the second contact, wherein the control unit calculates the Seebeck coefficient (S) of the target alloy according to the formula S = V / ΔT.
