Abstract:
A non-thermal plasma reactor (1500, 1600, 1700, 1800, 2200, 2300, 2600, 2700, 2800) is provided for treating a liquid (1508) with non-thermal plasma species. The reactor includes a liquid inlet, a liquid outlet, a reaction volume (1522, 2222, 2612, 2712) between the liquid inlet and the liquid outlet and at least one non-thermal plasma electrode (1524, 2206, 2210, 2604, 2610, 2704, 2706) adjacent to the reaction volume (1522, 2222, 2612, 2712). The non-thermal plasma electrode (1524, 2206, 2210, 2604, 2610, 2704, 2706) is isolated physically and electrically from the flow path by a dielectric barrier (1526, 2208, 2302. 2606, 2608, 2708, 2710, 2804, 2806).
