Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to perform channel encoding and decoding in a wireless communication system. An operating method of a first device in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: generating a transport block; generating a plurality of outer code blocks from the transport block; dividing one of the outer code blocks into a plurality of information bit-based inner code blocks; generating a first parity bit set by performing outer coding on a first bit string including first bits of each of the information bit-based inner code blocks; generating a second parity bit set by performing outer coding on a second bit string including second bits of each of the information bit-based inner code blocks; generating a plurality of parity bit-based inner code blocks including at least one bit of the first parity bit set, and at least one bit of the second parity bit set; performing inner coding on the information bit-based inner code blocks and the parity bit-based inner code blocks; and transmitting the inner-coded inner code blocks to a second device.
