Title:
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREDICTING ANEURYSM RUPTURE USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ON BASIS OF MORPHOLOGICAL AND HEMODYNAMIC FACTORS OF ANEURYSM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/195724
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for predicting an aneurysm rupture using artificial intelligence on the basis of morphological and hemodynamic factors of the aneurysm. A method for predicting an aneurysm rupture according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: obtaining a blood vessel image; deriving a moment of inertia on the basis of the blood vessel image; obtaining a hemodynamic factor; outputting a rupture risk when the moment of inertia and the hemodynamic factor are input to a pre-trained artificial neural network; and if the rupture risk is greater than a predetermined rupture threshold value, predicting that rupture is possible, and if not, predicting that rupture will not occur.
