Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a method and apparatus for processing a high dynamic range image, which can enhance a display effect of the high dynamic range image. The method comprises: acquiring image information of a high dynamic range (HDR) image to be processed, wherein the HDR image comprises a plurality of pixels, and the image information comprises an RGB component maximum value of a first pixel corresponding to a first percentage and an RGB component maximum value of a second pixel corresponding to a second percentage; determining a reference maximum value of the HDR image according to the RGB component maximum value of the first pixel corresponding to the first percentage and the RGB component maximum value of the second pixel corresponding to the second percentage; determining a maximum brightness correction value of the HDR image according to the reference maximum value and a plurality of preset grading intervals, wherein the maximum brightness correction value is used for correcting the maximum value in the RGB component maximum values of the plurality of pixels comprised in the HDR image; and adjusting a dynamic range of the HDR image according to the maximum brightness correction value.
