Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and apparatus for processing information used for positioning. The method comprises: a test terminal receives a cell reference signal sent by a base station and acquires an original cell reference signal; the test terminal obtains a multi-path characteristic quantity according to the received cell reference signal and the original cell reference signal; and the test terminal sends to a server RSRP, timing information, and the multi-path characteristic quantity corresponding to each test site, so as to enable the server to realize a positioning service. According to the embodiments of the present invention, a multi-path characteristic quantity is added as a matching characteristic quantity of a positioning method, namely, positioning matching is performed through RSRP, timing information and the multi-path characteristic quantity at the same time, so that accuracy of RFPM positioning is improved as compared with positioning matching performed through the RSRP and the timing information, and especially when timing information cannot be accurately obtained, positioning matching performed through the RSRP and the multi-path characteristic quantity achieves higher accuracy than positioning matching performed through the RSRP only.
