The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data rate than a 4G communication system such as LTE. Network Control Repeaters (NCR) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may receive control information for configuring an NCR beam from a base station through a control link, and may perform relay between the base station and a UE in an NCR-Fwd access link by using the NCR beam configured on the basis of the control information.
