Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for processing a video. The apparatus for processing a video comprises: an image receiving unit for receiving an encoded image; a filtering unit for filtering an image frame recovered from the encoded image; a block dividing unit for dividing into a plurality of blocks the filtered image frame; a compressing unit for determining a compressing method for each of the plurality of blocks and performing selective compression, and packaging the compressed or uncompressed plurality of blocks into a specific unit; and a frame buffer memory for recording packaged data and the lookup table information.
