Abstract:
A method for continuously producing ring-like casing film (1d) for use in producing ham or sausage by loading therein meat of domestic animals, comprising the steps of winding thermoplastic cylindrical film (1a) containing gas sealed therein and having heat shrinkability around an arrangement comprising a plurality of stick-like rolls (2) which are circumferentially arranged and rotating on their axes to feed the film in a spiral fashion (1b), on the upstream side of the cylindrical film (1a) being fed in a spiral fashion (1b) supplying heated gas from the inside of the arrangement of stick-like rolls (2) in a radial direction of the arrangement through gaps between the stick-like rolls (2) to thereby heat and shrink the cylindrical film (1a), and on the downstream side of the cylindrical film (1a) being fed in a spiral fashion (1b) further supplying cooling air from the inside of the arrangement in a radial direction of the arrangement through gaps between the stick-like rolls (2) to thereby cool cylindrical film (1c), and an apparatus for producing the same ring-like casing film using the same method.
