The present disclosure may be utilized for the aforementioned technology-based intelligent services (smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cards or connected cars, health care, digital education, retail businesses, security- and safety-related services, etc.) The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus which, when a user equipment provides identifier information of the equipment using an unsecured connection, safely provides the identifier information using a one-time password (OTP) algorithm and a proximity authentication and adapts services to an individual's needs.
