Abstract:
A method and apparatus for rendering an outline of a model. The method comprises: performing a pre-processing operation on a concave line of a model to be subjected to rendering, so as to obtain a pre-processed model, wherein the concave line is a line formed by means of intersecting two faces, an included angle of which is less than a target angle, on a front face of said model (S202); rendering a front model of the pre-processed model (S204); offsetting a vertex on the pre-processed model, so as to obtain an offset model, wherein by means of the pre-processing operation, the offset model forms, at the concave line, a concave line face which is allowed to be rendered (S206); and rendering a back model of the offset model, wherein the back model forms, on the front model, a model outline of the front model (S208). By means of the method and apparatus, the technical problem in the related art of it being impossible to render an outline on a concave face of a model is solved.
