Disclosed is a method by which a terminal controls monitoring of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), comprising the steps of: receiving, from a base station, configuration information about a power-saving signal; monitoring the power-saving signal received from the base station on the basis of the configuration information about the power-saving signal; determining whether the power-saving signal is detected on the basis of the monitoring; and controlling PDCCH monitoring configurations of the terminal on the basis of a determination result.
