Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and apparatus for selecting a calling access domain, an IMS terminal, and a home subscription server. The method comprises: in a process in which an IMS terminal actively establishes a call connection with a target contact, obtaining a current registration state and current network camp-on information related to the target contact from a correspondence among stored contacts, current registration states and current network camp-on information; and according to the current registration state and the current network camp-on information related to the target contact, determining an calling access domain establishing a call connection with the target contact. Accordingly, the condition in the prior art in which an IMS terminal located in a VoIP network calls an IMS terminal located in a non-VoIP network by means of an IMS domain does not occur, thereby reducing the waiting time for call establishment, and avoiding the problem of service degradation occurring on the IMS terminals.
