Abstract:
The present application provides a method and an apparatus for sending and receiving a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU). Said method comprises: generating a PPDU, the PPDU comprising a short training field, the length of a frequency domain sequence of the short training field being greater than a first length, the first length being the length of the frequency domain sequence of the short training field transmitted on a channel having a bandwidth of 160 MHz, such as 2048; and sending the PPDU on a target channel, the bandwidth of the target channel being greater than 160 MHz. According to the embodiments of the present application, a larger channel bandwidth in practice and backward compatibility can be satisfied, and a short training sequence provided in the embodiments of the present application is verified by means of exhaustive simulation of parameters, so as to ensure a small peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) and a good performance can be achieved, thereby improving the estimation effect of an automatic gain control circuit of a receiving end, and further reducing the receiving bit error rate.
