Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method performed by a first UE, which operates in a wireless communication system and supports sidelink, may comprise the steps of: receiving a sidelink positioning reference signal (S-PRS) from a plurality of second UEs or transmitting the S-PRS to the plurality of second UEs; acquiring a first time offset value based on a synchronization error between the plurality of second UEs; and transmitting the first time offset value to a location management server (LMF) or a third UE connected to the location management server, wherein the plurality of second UEs may be anchor UEs for measuring the location of the first UE, and location information regarding the first UE may be calculated on the basis of a measurement value of the S-PRS and the first time offset value.
