Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a method and apparatus for starting an application, and an electronic device and a readable storage medium. The method comprises: when a display screen of an electronic device is controlled by means of a first operating system, if it is detected, by means of a second operating system, that a prestart condition is met, pre-starting one or more first application programs in the second operating system by means of the second operating system; in response to a first system switching instruction, performing switching to control the display screen by means of the second operating system; and controlling, by means of the second operating system, the display screen to present an interface related to a target application program among the pre-started first application programs.
