Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of mobile communication, and in particular relates to a method, apparatus, and system for selecting a mobile edge computing node, the method comprising: an edge cloud gateway receiving a first HTTP service request forwarded by a user plane function, the target address of the first HTTP service request being an edge application VIP; on the basis of the first HTTP service request and a preset shunting policy, determining a corresponding MEC processing server, and shunting the first HTTP service request to the corresponding MEC processing server. As such, by means of a newly added edge cloud gateway, the problem in which there is still no MEC node selection scheme for 5G mobile communication networks is solved, and an edge computing node may be selected nearby, thus attaining the goal of edge acceleration.
