Abstract:
The present disclosure discloses a method, apparatus, and system for transmitting image features, and relates to the technical field of communications. The transmission method comprises: by using a machine learning model, extracting feature matrices of an image to be processed for channels; determining one or more correlation matrix pairs according to a comparison result of the degree of correlation between the feature matrices and a first threshold; according to the amount of information, determining a representing matrix and a represented matrix among two feature matrices of each correlation matrix pair; determining correspondences between the representing matrices and the represented matrices; and quantizing and encoding the representation matrices, the correspondences, and the maximum feature value and minimum feature value in the represented matrices, and then transmitting same to a decoding end.
