Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a method and apparatus for tracking the state of an article, and an electronic device, a storage medium and a computer program product. The method comprises: acquiring movement trajectory information of an article, wherein the movement trajectory information includes detection results of the article in at least two frames of images; on the basis of the movement trajectory information and information regarding a preset detection line, determining detection state information of the article in each frame of image, wherein the detection line is arranged on one side of a storage cabinet, the distance between the detection line and the storage cabinet is within a preset range, and the detection state information is used for measuring the position change state of the article relative to the detection line; and on the basis of detection state information of the article in every two adjacent frames of images from among the at least two frames of images, determining a target tracking state corresponding to the article, wherein the target tracking state is used for indicating that the article has been taken or that the article has been returned.
