Abstract:
A method of visually demonstrating the malodor control benefit of a consumer product by using a demonstration apparatus that includes a treatment substrate, a malodor-generating composition, and an indicator substrate. This method involves first applying the consumer product and the malodor-generating composition to the treatment substrate, followed by exposing the indicator substrate to the treatment substrate for a predetermined duration. The absence of any visual change in the indicator substrate is indicative of the malodor control benefit of the consumer product.
