Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatuses for wireless communications in a communication system. According to some embodiments of the disclosure, a UE may: communicate with a BS via a relay node; receive, via the relay node from the BS, an RRC message, wherein the RRC message may be one of the following: a first RRC release message; a second RRC release message including a suspend configuration; and an RRC reconfiguration message indicating a remote UE related configuration.
