Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for applying a strut-tie model to each of the bent sections of a natural gas storage tank structure. Disclosed is the method for applying a strut-tie model to each of the bent sections of a natural gas storage tank structure. The present invention comprises the steps of: selecting at least one of the bent sections of the natural gas storage tank structure to be the strut-tie model analysis section; selecting each cross-sectional dimension of the selected bent section and then calculating loads and section forces for application to analysis; configuring strut-tie model properties and boundary conditions for each point; and calculating member thickness and reinforcing steel amount on the basis of the strut-tie model. The bent sections of the natural gas storage tank structure are at least one of a roof-structure foundation connection portion, a wall body-roof connection portion, or a floor slab-wall body connection portion.
