Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for automatically recommending a crown model and a prosthesis computer-aided design (CAD) apparatus for performing the same. A method for automatically recommending a crown model, according to one embodiment, automatically recommends a crown template model that best matches a target tooth requiring prosthetics through geometry modeling and image processing. Accordingly, a user may quickly and conveniently be recommended a crown having a similar shape to a tooth near the target tooth, and thus the time required for designing the crown can be reduced.
