Abstract:
A method for automatically segmenting teeth in three-dimensional scan data comprises the steps of: converting three-dimensional scan data into a two-dimensional image; determining three-dimensional landmarks using a first artificial intelligence neural network that receives the two-dimensional image as an input; generating cutting data by cutting the scan data using the three-dimensional landmarks; determining anchor points using the three-dimensional landmarks and the cutting data; generating mapping data by mapping the cutting data to predetermined spaces using the anchor points; determining a segmentation mask using a second artificial intelligence neural network that receives the mapping data as an input; and mapping the segmentation mask to the scan data or the cutting data.
