Abstract:
This invention relates to the method of avoiding electric arc when the power switches on-and-off, and offers a device to solve the problem. According to this invention, a compound resistance (5) is connected in series to the switching circuit, its value being increased gradually with initial cut-out of the switch, and the circuit will not be broken until the value of the series resistance (5) reaches maximum. By this device, we can thoroughly suppress the electric arc produced by breaking the switch, connecting load current and changing mode of connection; in this way, effective and safe arc suppression will be guaranteed. This invention can be widely applied to the arc suppression of various power switches.
