METHOD FOR AVOIDING A SIGNAL COLLISION IN A ONE-WAY COMMUNICATION IN A WIRELESS POWER TRANSMISSION

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless power transmission apparatus, and to a method for controlling same, the wireless power transmission device being operable so as to enable a plurality of electronic devices to effectively, stably, and simultaneously receive wireless power from the wireless power transmission apparatus by generating a wireless power signal, receiving response signals corresponding to the wireless power signal from the plurality of electronic devices, determining whether or not there is collision between the response signals, and resetting power transmission if it is determined that there is collision. For this purpose, the wireless power transmission apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a power converter for generating a wireless power signal for the power transmission and receiving a first response signal and a second response signal which correspond to the wireless power signal; and a power transmission controller for determining whether or not the first and second response signals collide with each other and re-setting the power transmission if it is determined that there is a collision between the first and second response signals, wherein the first response signal and the second response signal are generated through a modulation of the wireless power signal by a first device and a second device, respectively. Further, the present invention relates to an electronic device, and to a method for controlling same, the electronic device being capable of effectively and stably receiving wireless power by determining whether or not a wireless power transmission apparatus resets the power transmission due to the collision of the response signals of the plurality of electronic devices, and changing delay times of the response signals if it is determined that the power transmission is re-set. For this purpose, the electronic device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a power receiver for receiving the wireless power signal for the power transmission from the wireless power transmission apparatus; a power receiving controller for controlling a third response signal corresponding to the wireless power signal within a first response period after the lapse of an interval set to a first time, determining whether or not the power transmission of the wireless power transmission apparatus is reset, setting the interval to a second time on the basis of the determined results when the power transmission is reset, and controlling the power receiver so as to transmit a fourth response signal corresponding to the wireless power signal within a second response period after the interval set to the second time.
