Abstract:
A method based on a GPGPU reconfigurable architecture, and a computing system. The method comprises selecting an architectural pattern according to the level of involvement of a matrix multiplication or a convolution operation in computing, wherein the architectural pattern comprises a general-purpose graphics processing unit pattern and a hybrid systolic array pattern; when the general-purpose graphics processing unit pattern is selected, a register in a computing system is configured to perform data access and operation using a general-purpose matrix multiplication method of a general-purpose graphics processing unit; and when the hybrid systolic array pattern is selected, the register in the computing system is configured to perform data access and operation using a direct convolution method of a hybrid systolic array. The computing system comprises a register, wherein an architectural pattern of the register is configured using the method. By means of the method based on a GPGPU reconfigurable architecture, and the computing system, flexible configuration can be performed for requirements of different scenarios, such that the requirement for universality can be met, and the defect of insufficient flexibility of a dedicated accelerator is also made up for.
