Abstract:
A method for calculating the pupil position of a user and a recording medium, on which a program for executing the method for calculating the pupil position of a user is recorded, are disclosed. The present invention is implemented through steps in which an operating device extracts the facial area of a user from an image captured by photographing the user, extracts the eye area of the user from the extracted facial area, and calculates the pupil position of the user on the basis of the extracted eye area. According to the present invention, the pupil position of a user can be recognized with high precision through a general camera device such as a webcam instead of infrared camera equipment.
