Abstract:

The present invention discloses a method of calling the whole process track for NGN medium gateway. According to the present invention, the soft handover equipment adds the extended track indication information to the H.248 message associated with the calling process needed to been tracked. According to the said extended track indication information, the medium gateway judges if it is needed to track the calling process which the affair of the received H.248 message belongs to. If it is, it implements the track operation to the calling process, which the corresponding affair belongs to. By the method, the medium gateway may make a whole track to the whole calling process of the arbitrary calling.
