Abstract:
The present application discloses a method and carrier for biosynthesis of astaxanthin. The method comprises: realizing biosynthesis of astaxanthin in engineering bacteria capable of expressing β-carotene ketonase and β-carotene hydroxylase derived from haematococcus pluvialis, wherein the β-carotene hydroxylase comprises G135L point mutation. After point mutation is introduced, the yield of astaxanthin is improved by 2.8 times.
