Abstract:
Provided are: a metal glass casting device which can also be used in cases in which the metal glass casting mold is subjected to difficult conditions; and a casting method using said device. The metal glass casting device comprises: a high-frequency melting crucible (10) obtained by winding a high-frequency coil (12) which generates high-frequency waves around a crucible body (11), a storage space (14) of the crucible main body, in which the melt of metal glass is stored, a through-hole (16) provided so as to pass through from the top to the bottom of the bottom part (15) and of a size which does not allow the melt (13) to pass through when there is no internal/external pressure difference caused by surface tension, and a ventilation port (17) provided to the top part of the crucible body (11);
a mold (20) having a port for casting which is connected in a sealed manner to the through hole of the crucible body (11); a vertical approaching/moving away device which moves the high-frequency melting crucible (10) and the mold (20) towards and away from one another;
and a vacuum chamber (40) which is provided so as to encompass the high-frequency melting crucible (10) and the mold (20), is rendered to a vacuum state, and by vacuum disintegration casts the melt (13) into the mold (20).
