Abstract:
It is intended to provide a method of classifying particles whereby cells in the blood are accurately measured by using acridine orange and an apparatus therefor. Cells in the blood are classified by the step of staining the cells in the blood with acridine orange, the step of irradiating the cells in the blood with light, the step of examining the staining level by using platelets in the blood as an indication of staining, and the step of classifying the cells in the blood.
