Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for cleaning a tyre valve and an implement for cleaning same, which make it possible to remove foreign material adhering to the inner surface of a tyre valve and to avoid replacement of the valve due to the adhesion of foreign material. The method for cleaning a tyre valve according to the present invention employs a tyre valve cleaning implement provided with a cleaning part made of a flexible material, and a holding part joined to the cleaning part, the maximum outer diameter of the cleaning part being 50% - 200% of the minimum inner diameter of the tyre valve. The method for cleaning a tyre valve involves removing the valve core from a tyre valve attached to a wheel, and removing foreign material adhering to the inner surface of the tyre valve using the cleaning part.
