Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for co-producing erythritol and arabinose from a xylose mother liquor. Xylose is separated by means of first chromatographic separation to obtain an extract solution and a raffinate, the extract solution being used for preparing crystalline xylose; the raffinate is blended with liquid glucose or crystalline glucose; osmotolerant Yarrowia lipolytica having a high conversion rate is used to produce erythritol by means of fermentation, and centrifugation and crystallization are carried out on the basis of low solubility and easy crystallization of erythritol to obtain erythritol crystals; second chromatographic separation is performed on a centrifugal mother liquor of erythritol to obtain a raffinate having a high arabinose content; and then arabinose crystals are obtained by means of preparation. While xylose and arabinose are obtained, erythritol having a higher additional value is produced from glucose in a xylose mother liquor, thus achieving efficient use of a xylose mother liquor, reducing the fermentation cost, and increasing the economic benefit.
