Abstract:
As a technique for collecting isoprene contained in a fermented gas with a high collection rate and high efficiency, a method for collecting isoprene contained in a fermented gas is provided. The method comprises the following steps (I-1) and (I-2): (I-1) a step of bringing an isoprene-containing fermented gas, which is produced by culturing a microorganism capable of producing isoprene, into contact with a porous adsorbent; and (I-2) a step of desorbing isoprene that has been adsorbed on the porous adsorbent.
