Abstract:
A method for connecting a remote control device and a host, wherein there are at least two hosts, and the hosts can establish a communication connection with a remote control device. The connection method comprises the following steps: a remote control device being connected to a first host (S1); receiving a first control instruction of switching the first host to a second host (S2); if it is confirmed that switching is performed, receiving a second control instruction of planning to connect to the second host (S301), and sending a directional broadcast including a device identifier of the second host (S302); and if a connection is established between the remote control device and the second host within a preset time period, confirming that the first host is switched to the second host (S4). The present invention solves the problems in the prior art of single hosts being controlled by a remote control device and a low universality, and provides a method for switching the connection between a remote control device and a plurality of hosts, thereby improving the universality of the remote control device, and improving the user experience.
