Abstract:
[Problem] To curb the impact that the lead time for cooling compressors has on the construction schedule of natural gas liquefaction plants. [Solution] This method for constructing a natural gas liquefaction plant includes a transportation step in which a coolant compression module main body 175 which includes a frame 120 on which can be installed a coolant compressor 150 which compresses coolant used in cooling natural gas is transported to an installation area 85 on a plant site 70, an installation step in which the coolant compression module main body 175 which has been transported to the installation area 85 is installed within the installation area 85, and a coolant compressor mounting step in which a coolant compressor 150 is mounted on the coolant compression module main body 175 which has been installed. In the coolant compressor mounting step, a coolant compressor 150 is mounted in a mounting space 130 provided beforehand on the frame 120.
