Provided are a method and system for continuously producing optical display panels, with which offset pasting can be prevented from occurring in the pasting of an optical film onto an optical cell. A method for continuously producing optical display panels comprises: a step for conveying a carrier film (12) onto which an optical film (13) has been laminated with an adhesive interposed therebetween; a step for inwardly folding the conveyed carrier film (12) at a folding section (40a) and peeling the optical film (13) from the carrier film (12); a step for wrapping up the carrier film (12) from which the optical film (13) has been peeled; a step for conveying an optical cell (P) and pasting the optical film (13), having been peeled from the carrier film (12) onto the optical cell (P), with an adhesive interposed therebetween; and a step for reducing the difference between a first tension of the carrier film (12) positioned further upstream than the folding section (40a) and a second tension of the carrier film (12) positioned further downstream than the folding section, by decreasing one of the tensions, before the step for pasting.
