Abstract:
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems AB has developed the present invention relates to a method for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements (A1, A2, A3) by means of a central control unit (CCU). The respective door management arrangement comprises a door device (D1, D2, 5 D3) with a door leaf configurations (10) and a door management configuration (DM1, DM2, DM3). Said door management arrangements (A1, A2, A3) further comprises a communication device (C1, C2, C3) wirelessly connectable to said central control unit (CCU). The method comprises: receiving (S1), from communication devices (C1, C2, C3), signals associated with door 10 management action requests; based on said action requests, determining (S2) actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management; and, sending (S3) signals associated with said determined actions to door management configurations (DM1, DM2, DM3) with instructions to take action based on the determined action for particular door 15 management arrangements. The present invention also relates to a central control unit (CCU) for remotely controlling management of door management arrangements (A1, A2, A3). The present invention also relates to a remote door management system (S).

Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A method for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements (A1 , A2, A3) by means of a central control unit (CCU), said central control unit (CCU) being remotely arranged relative to said set of door management arrangements (A1 , A2, A3), the respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements (A1 , A2, A3) comprising at least one door device (D1 , D2, D3) with one or more door leaf configurations (10) and a door management configuration (DM1 , DM2, DM3) for facilitating management of said at least one door device (D1 , D2, D3), said door management configuration (DM1 , DM2, DM3) comprising one or more drive units (110) and/or one or more actuator units (120) and/or one or more sensor units (130), and/or one or more operator management configurations (140) the respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements (A1 , A2, A3) further comprising a communication device (C1 , C2, C3) configured to be wirelessly connectable to said central control unit (CCU), the method performed by said central control unit (CCU) comprising the steps of: receiving (S1 ), from one or more communication devices (C1 , C2, C3), one or more signals associated with action requests for door management of one or more door management arrangements of said set of door management arrangements (A1 , A2, A3); based on said one or more signals associated with action requests, determining (S2) actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management; and sending (S3) one or more signals associated with said determined door management actions to door management configurations (DM1 , DM2, DM3) of one or more door management arrangements, instructing door management configurations (DM1 , DM2, DM3) of door management arrangements to take action based on the determined action for particular door management arrangements.

The method according to claim 1 , the method further comprising the step of, prior to determining door management actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management, identifying door management arrangements associated with particular signals of said one or more signals so as to secure that door management actions are taken for correct door management arrangements.

The method according to claim 1 or 2, the method further comprising the step of, prior to determining door management actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management, determining whether received signals associated with door management requests corresponds to signals sent from a communication device associated with a door management configuration having authorization for requesting door management for that door management arrangement and/or taking action for door management. 4. The method according to any of claims 1-3, wherein a communication device (C1, C2, C3) of a door management arrangement (A1, A2, A3) is configured to be operably connectable to the door management configuration (DM1 , DM2, DM3) of that door management arrangement (A1 , A2, A3) and/or configured to be comprised in one or more of said one or more drive units (110) and/or in one or more of said one or more one or more actuator units (120) and/or in one or more of said one or more sensor units (130) and/or in one or more of said one or more operator management configurations (140) of the door management configuration (DM1, DM2, DM3) of that door management arrangement (A1, A2, A3). 5. The method according to any of claims 1-4, wherein signals associated with action requests for door management of a door management arrangement (A1, A2, A3) may comprise signals associated with one or more of: door operation of said at least one door device (D1, D2, D3) comprising operation involving movement of said at least one door leaf configuration (10) of said at least one door device (D1, D2, D3); status of door management arrangement comprising wear and/or functionality; door maintenance; safety associated with door operation and/or door maintenance; updating of door management arrangement comprising updating of setup for door management and/or updating of set of door management arrangement.

The method according to any of claims 1-5, wherein said one or more operator management configurations (140) may comprise one or more mobile phones and/or one or more computers, wherein one or more of said one or more operator management configurations (140) are configured to have authorization for executing door management requests and/or door management actions, where said authorization may be at different levels of accessibility depending on character of door management requests and/or door management actions and/or operator management configurations (140).

The method according to any of claims 1-6, wherein said one or more operator management configurations (140) comprised in a door management configuration (DM1, DM2, DM3) of one door management arrangement may be comprised in one or more door management configurations (DM1, DM2, DM3) of other door management arrangements (A1 , A2, A3).

The method according to any of claims 1-7, wherein the step of receiving one or more signals associated with action requests for door management comprises the steps of: receiving signals for updating of set of door management arrangement by adding of one or more door management arrangements to the set of door management arrangements;

• adding information associated with said added one or more door management arrangements so as to facilitate door management of said added one or more door management arrangements via said central control unit (CCU); wherein the step of determining actions for said door management arrangements comprises the step of: determining that said updating of set of door management arrangement has been performed and is now accessible via said central control unit (CCU), so that information associated with said update is ready to be sent; wherein the step of sending (S3) one or more signals associated with said determined door management actions comprises the step of: sending information associated with status of said updating of the set of door management arrangement to one or more door management configurations (DM1 , DM2, DM3) associated with said added one or more door management arrangements.

9. The method according to any of claims 1-8, wherein said central control unit (CCU) is server-based.

A central control unit (CCU) for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements (A1 , A2, A3), said central control unit (CCU) being remotely arranged relative to said set of door management arrangements (A1 , A2, A3), the respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements (A1 , A2, A3) comprising at least one door device (D1, D2, D3) with one or more door leaf configurations (10) and a door management configuration (DM1, DM2, DM3) for facilitating management of said at least one door device (D1, D2, D3), said door management configuration (DM1, DM2, DM3) comprising one or more drive units (110) and/or one or more actuator units (120) and/or one or more sensor units (130), and/or one or more operator management configurations (140) the respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements (A1, A2, A3) further comprising a communication device (C1, C2, C3) configured to be wirelessly connectable to said central control unit (CCU), wherein the central control unit (CCU) is configured to: receive (S1), from one or more communication devices (C1, C2, C3), one or more signals associated with action requests for door management of one or more door management arrangements of said set of door management arrangements (A1 , A2, A3); based on said one or more signals associated with action requests, determine (S2) door management actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management; and send (S3) one or more signals associated with said determined door management actions to door management configurations (DM1, DM2, DM3) of one or more door management arrangements, instructing door management configurations (DM1, DM2, DM3) of door management arrangements to take action based on the determined action for particular door management arrangements.

The central control unit according to claim 10, the central control unit further being configured to, prior to determining door management actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management, identify door management arrangements associated with particular signals of said one or more signals so as to secure that door management actions are taken for correct door management arrangements.

The central control unit according to claim 10 or 11 , the central control unit further being configured to, prior to determining door management actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management, determine whether received signals associated with door management requests corresponds to signals sent from a communication device associated with a door management configuration having authorization for requesting door management for that door management arrangement and/or taking action for door management.

The central control unit according to any of claims 10-12, wherein a communication device (C1 , C2, C3) of a door management arrangement (A1 , A2, A3) is configured to be operably connectable to the door management configuration (DM1, DM2, DM3) of that door management arrangement (A1, A2, A3) and/or configured to be comprised in one or more of said one or more drive units (110) and/or in one or more of said one or more one or more actuator units (120) and/or in one or more of said one or more sensor units (130) and/or in one or more of said one or more operator management configurations (140) of the door management configuration (DM1, DM2, DM3) of that door management arrangement (A1 , A2, A3).

The central control unit according to any of claims 10-13, wherein signals associated with action requests for door management of a door management arrangement (A1, A2, A3) may comprise signals associated with one or more of: door operation of said at least one door device (D1, D2, D3) comprising operation involving movement of said at least one door leaf configuration (10) of said at least one door device (D1, D2, D3); status of door management arrangement comprising wear and/or functionality; door maintenance; safety associated with door operation and/or door maintenance; updating of door management arrangement comprising updating of setup for door management and/or updating of set of door management arrangement.

The central control unit according to any of claims 10-14, wherein said one or more operator management configurations (140) may comprise one or more mobile phones and/or one or more computers, wherein one or more of said one or more operator management configurations (140) are configured to have authorization for executing door management requests and/or door management actions, where said authorization may be at different levels of accessibility depending on character of door management requests and/or door management actions and/or operator management configurations (140).

The central control unit according to any of claims 10-15, wherein said one or more operator management configurations (140) comprised in a door management configuration (DM1, DM2, DM3) of one door management arrangement may be comprised in one or more door management configurations (DM1, DM2, DM3) of other door management arrangements (A1 , A2, A3). 17. The central control unit according to any of claims 10-16, wherein the central control unit, when receiving one or more signals associated with action requests for door management, is configured to: receive signals for updating of set of door management arrangement by adding of one or more door management arrangements to the set of door management arrangements; • add information associated with said added one or more door management arrangements so as to facilitate door management of said added one or more door management arrangements via said central control unit (CCU); wherein the central control unit, when determining actions for said door management arrangements, is configured to: determine that said updating of set of door management arrangement has been performed and is now accessible via said central control unit (CCU), so that information associated with said update is ready to be sent; wherein the central control unit, when sending one or more signals associated with said determined door management actions, is configured to: send information associated with status of said updating of the set of door management arrangement to one or more door management configurations (DM1 , DM2, DM3) associated with said added one or more door management arrangements.

18. The central control unit according to any of claims 10-17, wherein said central control unit (CCU) is server-based.

19. A remote door management system (S) for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements (A1, A2, A3), the remote door management system (S) comprising said set of door management arrangements (A1 , A2, A3) and a central control unit (CCU) according to any of claims 10-18.

Description:
METHOD AND CONTROL UNIT FOR CONTROLLING MANAGEMENT OF A SET OF DOOR MANAGEMENT ARRANGEMENTS

TECHNICAL FIELD The invention relates to a method for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements by means of a central control unit. The invention also relates to a central control unit for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements. The invention also relates to a remote door management system for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements.

BACKGROUND

Door management arrangements are generally equipped with a door device having at least one door. The door device may be any kind of door device such as a sliding door device, revolving door device, high speed door device, overhead door device, etc. The door device may comprise any kind of frame or the like for supporting said door and for guiding said at least one door between an open and closed position. A door management arrangement further comprises a drive unit for opening and closing operation of the at least one door. The door device may also comprise one or more actuators such as e.g. a push button or the like for starting and stopping door operation. The door device may also comprise one or more sensors such as photo cells for detecting e.g. persons/objects in connection to said at least one door for facilitating door operation. A door management arrangement may further comprise a control unit for controlling operation/management of said door management arrangement.

Management of such door management arrangements comprising e.g. operation, maintenance, service etc. is generally performed at the site and different services may be required at different door management arrangement sites e.g. due to utilization of different control units for essentially the same functionalities. Performed replacements at certain door management arrangement sites may not be tracked. There is thus a need for facilitating control of door management arrangements.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

An object of the present invention is to provide a method for facilitating controlling management of door management arrangements. Another object of the present invention is to provide a control unit for facilitating controlling management of door management arrangements.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a door management system for facilitating controlling management of door management arrangements.

SUMMARY

These and other objects, apparent from the following description, are achieved by a method, a control device, and a remote door management system, as set out in the appended independent claims. Preferred embodiments of the method and the control device are defined in appended dependent claims.

Specifically an object of the invention is achieved by a method for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements by means of a central control unit. Said central control unit is remotely arranged relative to said set of door management arrangements. The respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements comprises at least one door device with one or more door leaf configurations and a door management configuration for facilitating management of said at least one door device. Said door management configuration comprises one or more drive units and/or one or more actuator units and/or one or more sensor units, and/or one or more operator management configurations. The respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements further comprises a communication device configured to be wirelessly connectable to said central control unit. The method performed by said central control unit comprises the step of receiving, from one or more communication devices, one or more signals associated with action requests for door management of one or more door management arrangements of said set of door management arrangements. The method further comprises the step of, based on said one or more signals associated with action requests, determining actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management. The method further comprises the step of sending one or more signals associated with said determined door management actions to door management configurations of one or more door management arrangements, instructing door management configurations of door management arrangements to take action based on the determined action for particular door management arrangements.

By thus providing such a centralized control unit, which may be server based and e.g. provided in the so called cloud, for controlling management of a large set of door management arrangements, which may be of any suitable kind and be arranged at different locations facilitating wireless connection to said central control unit, a centralized and powerful remote door management system may be provided, which is cost efficient and facilitates easy and efficient management of said set of door management arrangements, comprising facilitating operation, maintenance, service etc.

By thus not requiring individual control units for the respective door management arrangement, cost reduction is facilitated, such as cost reduction e.g. for the overall hardware. By thus providing such a centralized control unit, approvals and certificates and the like are only required for one hardware. Further, easy update of firmware and software is facilitated. Hereby it is facilitated to provide the same principal setup for all door management arrangements with regard to controlling door management. This facilitates easy customization, e.g. via standard apps utilizing operator management configurations in the shape of mobile phones. Hereby easy overview regarding aspects such as installations associated with door management arrangements, status of door management arrangements, exchange of parts of door management arrangements, access to control of door management arrangements and the like is facilitated. Hereby protection of service business, e.g. access, spare parts etc. is facilitated. Hereby adding of door management configurations such as actuator units, sensor units and the like is facilitated. Hereby easy setup and integration like e.g. “wireless ear plugs” for mobile phones.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, said central control unit is configured to receive, process, send and/or store information associated with door management arrangements of said set of door management arrangements.

According to an embodiment, the method further comprises the step of, prior to determining door management actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management, identifying door management arrangements associated with particular signals of said one or more signals so as to secure that door management actions are taken for correct door management arrangements. By thus identifying door management arrangements associated with particular signals, securing of correct door management actions for correct door management arrangements are facilitated in an easy and efficient way. By such identification, high safety and efficiency of management control of the set of door management arrangements is provided. According to an embodiment, the method further comprises the step of, prior to determining door management actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management, determining whether received signals associated with door management requests corresponds to signals sent from a communication device associated with a door management configuration having authorization for requesting door management for that door management arrangement and/or taking action for door management. By thus determining authorization of door management configurations in connection to receiving door management request signals, unauthorized access to door management arrangements may be prevented in an easy and efficient way. By such determination of authorization, high safety and efficiency of management control of the set of door management arrangements is provided.

According to an embodiment of the method, a communication device of a door management arrangement is configured to be operably connectable to the door management configuration of that door management arrangement and/or configured to be comprised in one or more of said one or more drive units and/or in one or more of said one or more one or more actuator units and/or in one or more of said one or more sensor units and/or in one or more of said one or more operator management configurations of the door management configuration of that door management arrangement. Hereby communication to the central control unit associated with action requests for door management may be easily and efficiently adapted and set up for different door management arrangements. For example, a door management arrangement may be equipped with communication device being separated from and operably connectable to door management configuration, i.e. to drive unit/units, actuator unit/units, sensor unit/units etc., where such a communication unit acts as a gateway to the central control unit. Such a gateway configured communication device may be in the shape of router or the like. Alternatively, or in addition, e.g. a drive unit may be provided with a communication unit configured to communicate directly with said central control unit, such e.g. in drive unit integrated communication unit being part of the communication device.

According to an embodiment of the method, signals associated with action requests for door management of a door management arrangement may comprise signals associated with one or more of: door operation of said at least one door device comprising operation involving movement of said at least one door leaf configuration of said at least one door device; status of door management arrangement comprising wear and/or functionality; door maintenance; safety associated with door operation and/or door maintenance; updating of door management arrangement comprising updating of setup for door management and/or updating of set of door management arrangement. Hereby, by means of such a central control unit, most of the feasible door management may be easily and efficiently obtained.

According to an embodiment of the method, said one or more operator management configurations may comprise one or more mobile phones and/or one or more computers, wherein one or more of said one or more operator management configurations are configured to have authorization for executing door management requests and/or door management actions, where said authorization may be at different levels of accessibility depending on character of door management requests and/or door management actions and/or operator management configurations. Hereby control of management of door management arrangements may be performed in an efficient and flexible way, e.g. from an app in mobile phone and/or some kind of control centre via computers. Hereby accessibility may be efficiently controlled.

According to an embodiment of the method, said one or more operator management configurations comprised in a door management configuration of one door management arrangement may be comprised in one or more door management configurations of other door management arrangements. Hereby control of multiple door management arrangements may be easily and efficiently performed by means of a single operator management configuration, e.g. mobile phone.

According to an embodiment of the method, the step of receiving one or more signals associated with action requests for door management comprises the steps of: receiving signals for updating of set of door management arrangement by adding of one or more door management arrangements to the set of door management arrangements; adding information associated with said added one or more door management arrangements so as to facilitate door management of said added one or more door management arrangements via said central control unit. The step of determining actions for said door management arrangements comprises the step of: determining that said updating of set of door management arrangement has been performed and is now accessible via said central control unit so that information associated with said update is ready to be sent. The step of sending one or more signals associated with said determined door management actions comprises the step of: sending information associated with status of said updating of the set of door management arrangement to one or more door management configurations associated with said added one or more door management arrangements. Hereby updating of set of door management arrangement by adding of one or more door management arrangements to the set of door management arrangements may be easily and efficiently obtained.

According to an embodiment of the method, said central control unit is server- based.

Specifically an object of the invention is achieved by a central control unit for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements. Said central control unit is remotely arranged relative to said set of door management arrangements. The respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements comprises at least one door device with one or more door leaf configurations and a door management configuration for facilitating management of said at least one door device. Said door management configuration comprises one or more drive units and/or one or more actuator units and/or one or more sensor units, and/or one or more operator management configurations. The respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements further comprises a communication device configured to be wirelessly connectable to said central control unit. The central control unit is configured to receive, from one or more communication devices, one or more signals associated with action requests for door management of one or more door management arrangements of said set of door management arrangements. The central control unit is further configured to, based on said one or more signals associated with action requests, determine door management actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management. The central control unit is further configured to send one or more signals associated with said determined door management actions to door management configurations of one or more door management arrangements, instructing door management configurations of door management arrangements to take action based on the determined action for particular door management arrangements.

According to an embodiment, the central control unit is further configured to, prior to determining door management actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management, identify door management arrangements associated with particular signals of said one or more signals so as to secure that door management actions are taken for correct door management arrangements.

According to an embodiment, the central control unit is further configured to, prior to determining door management actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management, determine whether received signals associated with door management requests corresponds to signals sent from a communication device associated with a door management configuration having authorization for requesting door management for that door management arrangement and/or taking action for door management.

According to an embodiment of the central control unit, a communication device of a door management arrangement is configured to be operably connectable to the door management configuration of that door management arrangement and/or configured to be comprised in one or more of said one or more drive units and/or in one or more of said one or more one or more actuator units and/or in one or more of said one or more sensor units and/or in one or more of said one or more operator management configurations of the door management configuration of that door management arrangement.

According to an embodiment of the central control unit, signals associated with action requests for door management of a door management arrangement may comprise signals associated with one or more of: door operation of said at least one door device comprising operation involving movement of said at least one door leaf configuration of said at least one door device; status of door management arrangement comprising wear and/or functionality; door maintenance; safety associated with door operation and/or door maintenance; updating of door management arrangement comprising updating of setup for door management and/or updating of set of door management arrangement.

According to an embodiment of the central control unit, said one or more operator management configurations may comprise one or more mobile phones and/or one or more computers, wherein one or more of said one or more operator management configurations are configured to have authorization for executing door management requests and/or door management actions, where said authorization may be at different levels of accessibility depending on character of door management requests and/or door management actions and/or operator management configurations.

According to an embodiment of the central control unit, said one or more operator management configurations comprised in a door management configuration of one door management arrangement may be comprised in one or more door management configurations of other door management arrangements.

According to an embodiment of the central control unit, the central control unit, when receiving one or more signals associated with action requests for door management, is configured to: receive signals for updating of set of door management arrangement by adding of one or more door management arrangements to the set of door management arrangements; add information associated with said added one or more door management arrangements so as to facilitate door management of said added one or more door management arrangements via said central control unit. The central control unit, when determining actions for said door management arrangements, is configured to: determine that said updating of set of door management arrangement has been performed and is now accessible via said central control unit so that information associated with said update is ready to be sent. The central control unit, when sending one or more signals associated with said determined door management actions, is configured to: send information associated with status of said updating of the set of door management arrangement to one or more door management configurations associated with said added one or more door management arrangements.

According to an embodiment of the central control unit, said central control unit is server-based.

The central control unit according to the present disclosure has the advantages according to the corresponding method as set out herein.

Specifically an object of the invention is achieved by a remote door management system for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements, the remote door management system comprising said set of door management arrangements and a central control unit as set out herein. Hereinafter the term “link” refers to a communication link which may be a physical connector, such as an optoelectronic communication wire, or a non physical connector such as a wireless connection, for example a radio or microwave link. Fig. 1 schematically illustrates a block diagram of a remote door management system S for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3, according to an aspect of the present disclosure.

Fig. 2 schematically illustrates a block diagram of a remote door management system S for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements A1, A2, A3, with one door management arrangement A1 illustrated in more detail, according to an aspect of the present disclosure.

Said remote door management system S comprises a central control unit CCU for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, actions and method steps described herein as being performed by the central control unit CCU are performed by the processor arrangement PA of the central control unit CCU upon execution of one or more computer programs stored in the memory arrangement MA.

The communication arrangement CA is operably connected to said memory arrangement MA. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the communication arrangement CA may be operably connected to said the processor arrangement PA.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3 is configured to open and close an opening.

The respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3 comprises at least one door device D1 , D2, D3.

The at least one door device D1 , D2, D3 of a door management arrangement A1 , A2, A3 may be any kind of door device. The at least one door device D1 , D2, D3 may e.g. be a sliding door device, a revolving door device, a high speed door device, an overhead door device, a swing door device, a hinged door device, an up and over door device, a roll door device, a garage door device, an industrial door device, a gate, a barrier, or any device having the same function as a door. The at least one door device D1 , D2, D3 of a door management arrangement A1 , A2, A3 may comprise one or more door leaf configurations 10 operable between an open and a closed position. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, said one or more door leaf configurations 10 of a door device are configured to be movably arranged between said open position for providing said opening and said closed position for closing said opening. The at least one door device D1 , D2, D3 may comprise any kind of frame configuration 20, 30, 40 or the like for supporting said one or more door leaf configurations 10 and for guiding said one or more door leaf configurations 10 between said open and closed position.

In fig. 2 and 3, a door device D1 , D2, which may be a high speed door device/overhead door device, with opposite having a frame configuration with a first frame section 20 at a first side of the opening 01 and a second frame section 30 at a second side of the opening 01 opposite the first side, where the door leaf configuration 10 is movably arranged in connection to said frame sections 20, 30. The frame configuration of the door device D1 , D2 in fig. 3 and 3 further comprises a roller member 40 arranged above the door leaf configuration 10 for rolling the door leaf configuration 10 which may be a sectional door or a flexible door. Fig. 2 and 3 are only examples. A door device of a door management arrangement according to the present disclosure may as mentioned be any type of door device.

The respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3 further comprises a door management configuration DM1 , DM2, DM3 for facilitating management of said at least one door device D1 , D2, D3, According to an aspect of the present disclosure, said door management configuration DM1 , DM2, DM3 comprises one or more drive units 110. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, said one or more drive units 110 of said door management configuration DM1 , DM2, DM3 of a door management arrangement is configured to operate said at least one door device D1 , D2, D3 so as to provide said movement of said one or more door leaf configurations 10 between said open position and closed position.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, said door management configuration DM1 , DM2, DM3 comprises one or more actuator units 120. Said or more actuator units 120 may be any suitable actuator unit e.g. for facilitating door operation such as opening and closing of doors, keeping doors in an open position while activated, protecting users in connection to passing a door opening in connection to a door closing operation or the like. Said one or more actuator units 120 may e.g. comprise on or more push button or the like for starting and stopping door operation, one or more pull switches, floor loops, light grids, photo cells or the like. Said or more actuator units 120 may be operated by means of any suitable technology such as radar sensor technology, sensor technology based on microwave radar, active or passive IR, laser technology, time of flight technology, ultrasonic technology, video camera technology and/or capacitive technology. Said one or more actuator units 120 may comprise and/or utilize sensor functions. Said one or more actuator units 120 may comprise, constitute and/or utilize sensor units such as said sensor units 130 described below.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, said door management configuration DM1 , DM2, DM3 comprises one or more sensor units 130. Said one or more sensor units 130 may comprise any suitable sensor units for facilitating any kind of door management. Said one or more sensor units 130 may be sensor units facilitating status observation of the door device such as prospering opening and closing function, sensor units facilitating safety e.g. associated with protecting the closing edge and the passing way of a door opening etc. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, said one or more sensor units 130 may comprise and/or be associated with one or more of a radar sensor, sensor technology based on microwave radar, active or passive IR, laser technology, time of flight technology, ultrasonic technology, video camera technology and capacitive technology. Said one or more sensor units 130 may comprise and/or utilize sensor functions. Said one or more sensor units 130 may comprise, constitute, be operably connected to and/or utilize actuator units such as said actuator units 120 described above.

Said one or more sensor units 130 may comprise any suitable sensor units for facilitating door operation such as one or more sensors arranged to detect objects and/or persons in connection to the door e.g. so as to provide information for operation involving movement of said at least one door leaf configuration 10 of said at least one door device.

Said one or more sensor units 130 may comprise any suitable sensor units for detecting status of door management arrangement comprising e.g. wear and/or functionality. A sensor unit for detecting status may e.g. detect number of door movements, i.e. cycles between open and closed state.

Said one or more sensor units 130 may comprise any suitable sensor units for safety associated with door operation and/or door maintenance. Such a sensor unit may be configured to detect malfunction of door operation, detect risk of person being stuck due to moving door or the like.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, said door management configuration DM1 , DM2, DM3 comprises one or more operator management configurations 140. Said one or more operator management configurations 140 are configured to facilitate control of management of door management arrangements of an operator. Said one or more operator management configurations 140 may comprise one or more mobile phones. Hereby control of management of door management arrangements may be performed in an efficient and flexible way, e.g. from an app in mobile phone. Said one or more operator management configurations 140 may comprise one or more computers. Hereby control of management of door management arrangements may be performed in an efficient and flexible way, e.g. from some kind of control centre via said one or more computers. Said one or more operator management configurations 140 comprised in a door management configuration DM1 , DM2, DM3 of one door management arrangement may be comprised in one or more door management configurations DM1 , DM2, DM3 of other door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3.

The respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3 further comprises a communication device C1 , C2, C3. Said communication device C1 , C2, C3 of the respective door management arrangement A1 , A2, A3 is configured to be wirelessly connectable to said central control unit CCU.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as exemplified in e.g. fig. 1 and 2, a communication device C1 , C3 of a door management arrangement A1 , A3 may be configured to be operably connectable to the door management configuration DM1 , DM3 of that door management arrangement A1 , A3. According to this aspect of the present disclosure, the communication device C1 , C3 of the door management arrangement A1 , A3 is a separate communication unit connectable/connected to the door management configuration DM1 , DM3 of that door management arrangement A1 , A3 via one or more links. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, such a separately arranged communication device C1 , C3 may be configured as a gateway, e.g. in the shape of a router or the like.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, such a communication device C1 , C3 is configured to be operably connectable to said door management configuration DM1 , DM3 via one or more links. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, such a communication device C1 , C3 is configured to receive one or more signals associated with action requests for door management from said door management configuration DM1 , DM3. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, such a communication device C 1 , C3 is configured to receive information associated with action requests for door management from said door management configuration DM1 , DM3.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 2, such a communication device C1 is configured to receive one or more signals associated with action requests for door management from said one or more drive units 110 of said door management configuration DM1 . Said one or more signals may be communicated via one or more links.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 2, such a communication device C1 is configured to receive one or more signals associated with action requests for door management from said one or more actuator units 120 of said door management configuration DM1. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as exemplified in e.g. fig. 1 and 3, a communication device C2 of a door management arrangement A2 may be configured to be comprised in the door management configuration DM2 of that door management arrangement A2.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as exemplified in e.g. fig. 3, a communication device C2 of a door management arrangement A2 may be configured to be comprised in said one or more drive units 110 and in said one or more actuator units 120 and in said one or more sensor units 130 and in said one or more operator management configurations 140 of the door management configuration DM2 of that door management arrangement A2.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as exemplified in e.g. fig. 3, a communication unit C2a of the communication device C2 of the door management arrangement A2 is configured to be integrated in said one or more drive units 110 of the door management configuration DM2 of that door management arrangement A2. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 3, such an integrated communication unit C2a of the communication device C2 is configured to be wirelessly connectable to and communicate directly with said central control unit CCU. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 3, such an integrated communication unit C2a of the communication device C2 is configured to send one or more signals associated with action requests for door management from said one or more drive units 110 of said door management configuration DM2.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as exemplified in e.g. fig. 3, a communication unit C2b of the communication device C2 of the door management arrangement A2 is configured to be integrated in said one or more actuator units 120 of the door management configuration DM2 of that door management arrangement A2. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 3, such an integrated communication unit C2b of the communication device C2 is configured to be wirelessly connectable to and communicate directly with said central control unit CCU. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 3, such an integrated communication unit C2b of the communication device C2 is configured to send one or more signals associated with action requests for door management from said one or more actuator units 120 of said door management configuration DM2.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as exemplified in e.g. fig. 3, a communication unit C2c of the communication device C2 of the door management arrangement A2 is configured to be integrated in said one or more sensor units 130 of the door management configuration DM2 of that door management arrangement A2. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 3, such an integrated communication unit C2c of the communication device C2 is configured to be wirelessly connectable to and communicate directly with said central control unit CCU. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 3, such an integrated communication unit C2c of the communication device C2 is configured to send one or more signals associated with action requests for door management from said one or more sensor units 130 of said door management configuration DM2.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as exemplified in e.g. fig. 3, a communication unit C2d of the communication device C2 of the door management arrangement A2 is configured to be integrated in said one or more operator management configurations 140 of the door management configuration DM2 of that door management arrangement A2. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 3, such an integrated communication unit C2d of the communication device C2 is configured to be wirelessly connectable to and communicate directly with said central control unit CCU. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 3, such an integrated communication unit C2d of the communication device C2 is configured to send one or more signals associated with action requests for door management from said one or more operator management configurations 140 of said door management configuration DM2.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a communication device of a door management arrangement may be configured to provide any suitable combination of a separately arranged communication device/communication unit operably connectable to the door management arrangement/parts of the door management arrangement, and communication device/communication units configured to be comprised in one or more of said one or more drive units and/or in one or more of said one or more one or more actuator units and/or in one or more of said one or more sensor units and/or in one or more of said one or more operator management configurations of the door management configuration of that door management arrangement.

The central control unit CCU is configured to receive, from one or more communication devices C1 , C2, C3, one or more signals associated with action requests for door management of one or more door management arrangements of said set of door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the communication arrangement CA of the central control unit CCU is configured to receive, from one or more communication devices C1 , C2, C3, one or more signals associated with action requests for door management of one or more door management arrangements of said set of door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3.

The central control unit CCU is further configured to, based on said one or more signals associated with action requests, determine door management actions for said door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3 requesting door management. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the processor arrangement PA of the central control unit CCU is configured to, based on said one or more signals associated with action requests, determine door management actions for said door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3 requesting door management.

The central control unit CCU is further configured to send one or more signals associated with said determined door management actions to door management configurations DM1 , DM2, DM3 of one or more door management arrangements, instructing door management configurations DM1 , DM2, DM3 of door management arrangements to take action based on the determined action for particular door management arrangements. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the communication arrangement CA of the central control unit CCU is configured to communicate information associated with said determined door management actions to door management configurations DM1 , DM2, DM3 of one or more door management arrangements, instructing door management configurations DM1 , DM2, DM3 of door management arrangements to take action based on the determined action for particular door management arrangements.

The communication arrangement CA may be configured to communicate with the door management configurations DM1 , DM2, DM3 of one or more door management arrangements using any known communications protocol.

The memory arrangement MA of the central control unit CCU is configured to store a computer program associated with door management requests and actions based on information associated with action requests received by the central control unit CCU.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the memory arrangement MA comprises instructions, which when executed by the processor arrangement PA causes the central control unit CCU to perform the method according to the present disclosure, e.g. the one or more of the methods M1 , M2, M3, M4 described below with reference to fig. 4-7. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the central control unit CCU is configured to, prior to determining door management actions for said door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3 requesting door management, identify door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3 associated with particular signals of said one or more signals so as to secure that door management actions are taken for correct door management arrangements. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the memory arrangement MA of the central control unit CCU is configured to store information associated with identity of door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the central control unit CCU is configured to, prior to determining door management actions for said door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3 requesting door management, determine whether received signals associated with door management requests corresponds to signals sent from a communication device C1 , C2, C3 associated with a door management configuration DM1 , DM2, DM3 having authorization for requesting door management for that door management arrangement A1 , A2, A3 and/or taking action for door management. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the memory arrangement MA of the central control unit CCU is configured to store information associated with authorization of door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, one or more of said one or more operator management configurations 140 are configured to have authorization for executing door management requests and/or door management actions. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, said authorization may be at different levels of accessibility depending on character of door management requests and/or door management actions and/or operator management configurations 140.

Signals associated with action requests for door management of a door management arrangement A1 , A2, A3 received by the central control unit CCU from a communication device C1 , C2, C3 associated with a door management configuration DM1 , DM2, DM3 of a door management arrangement A1 , A2, A3 may comprise signals associated with any kind of door management request.

Signals associated with action requests for door management of a door management arrangement A1 , A2, A3 received by the central control unit CCU may comprise signals associated with one or more of: door operation of said at least one door device D1 , D2, D3 comprising operation involving movement of said at least one door leaf configuration 10 of said at least one door device D1 , D2, D3; status of door management arrangement comprising wear and/or functionality; door maintenance; safety associated with door operation and/or door maintenance; updating of door management arrangement comprising updating of setup for door management and/or updating of set of door management arrangement.

Signals associated with action requests for door management of a door management arrangement A1 , A2, A3 received by the central control unit CCU associated with door operation may comprise any kind of door operation comprising any kind of operation of a door management configuration such as operation of one or more drive units for moving one or more door leafs between open and closed position.

Signals associated with action requests for door management of a door management arrangement A1 , A2, A3 received by the central control unit CCU associated with status of door management arrangement may comprise any kind of status of door management arrangement. Signals associated with status of door management arrangement may comprise wear such as wear determined based on number of operation cycles associated with opening and closing of door leaf configuration or the like. Signals associated with status of door management arrangement may comprise functionality such as determination of malfunctions and non-malfunctions of any kind of door management configuration DM1 , DM2, DM3 such as drive units, actuator units, sensor units and the like. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the central control unit CCU, when receiving one or more signals associated with action requests for door management, is configured to receive signals for updating of set of door management arrangement by adding of one or more door management arrangements to the set of door management arrangements A1 , A2, A3.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the central control unit CCU, is configured to add information associated with said added one or more door management arrangements so as to facilitate door management of said added one or more door management arrangements via said central control unit CCU. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the memory arrangement MA of the central control unit CCU is configured to store information associated with said added one or more door management arrangements.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the central control unit CCU, when determining actions for said door management arrangements, is configured to determine that said updating of set of door management arrangement has been performed and is now accessible via said central control unit CCU, so that information associated with said update is ready to be sent.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the central control unit CCU, the central control unit, when sending one or more signals associated with said determined door management actions, is configured to send information associated with status of said updating of the set of door management arrangements to one or more door management configurations DM1 , DM2, DM3 associated with said added one or more door management arrangements.

Fig. 4-7 schematically illustrates a flow charts of different methods M1 , M2, M3, M4 for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements by means of a central control unit, according to aspects of the present disclosure.

Said central control unit is remotely arranged relative to said set of door management arrangements. The respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements comprises at least one door device with one or more door leaf configurations and a door management configuration for facilitating management of said at least one door device. Said door management configuration comprises one or more drive units and/or one or more actuator units and/or one or more sensor units, and/or one or more operator management configurations. The respective door management arrangement of said set of door management arrangements further comprises a communication device configured to be wirelessly connectable to said central control unit.

Fig. 4 schematically illustrates a flow chart of a method M1 for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements by means of a central control unit, according to an aspect of the present disclosure.

According to the embodiment the method comprises a step S1 . In this step the central control unit is receiving, from one or more communication devices, one or more signals associated with action requests for door management of one or more door management arrangements of said set of door management arrangements.

According to the embodiment the method comprises a step S2. In this step the central control unit is, based on said one or more signals associated with action requests, determining actions for said door management arrangements requesting door management.

In this step the central control unit is determining whether received signals associated with door management requests corresponds to signals sent from a communication device associated with a door management configuration having authorization for requesting door management for that door management arrangement and/or taking action for door management. The method M3 for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements by means of a central control unit is according to an embodiment adapted to be performed by the remote door management system S described above with reference to fig. 1-3.

Fig. 7 schematically illustrates a flow chart of a method M4 for controlling management of a set of door management arrangements by means of a central control unit, according to an aspect of the present disclosure. According to the embodiment the method comprises a step S31. In this step the central control unit is receiving signals for updating of set of door management arrangement by adding of one or more door management arrangements to the set of door management arrangements.

According to the embodiment the method comprises a step S31A. In this step the central control unit is adding information associated with said added one or more door management arrangements so as to facilitate door management of said added one or more door management arrangements via said central control unit.

According to the embodiment the method comprises a step S32. In this step the central control unit is determining that said updating of set of door management arrangement has been performed and is now accessible via said central control unit so that information associated with said update is ready to be sent.

According to the embodiment the method comprises a step S33.
