Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for controlling a motor vehicle (10). The motor vehicle (10) travels on a roadway (12) on a present driving lane (14), wherein at least two additional road users (20, 22) are present on the current driving lane (14) and/or on at least one additional driving lane (16). The method comprises the following steps: - acquiring surroundings data; - determining a respective provisional trajectory for the at least two additional road users (20, 22) based on the surroundings data; - determining a first collision probability for a collision of the motor vehicle (10) with a first of the at least two additional road users (20); - determining at least one potential intervention maneuver for the motor vehicle (10) based on the first collision probability; and - determining a second collision probability for a collision of the motor vehicle with a second of the at least two additional road users (22) based on the at least one potential intervention maneuver and based on the provisional trajectories of the at least two additional road users (20, 22). The invention further relates to a controller and to a computer program.
