Abstract:
A method for controlling an auto idle state of heavy construction equipment of the present invention comprises the steps of: allowing a vehicle controller (VCU), which has received engine actuation information from an engine controller (ECU), to store a traveling average value of a worker-set engine RPM during a first set time when heavy construction equipment is actuated by the worker-set engine RPM; and allowing the engine controller (ECU), which has received the traveling average value information of the worker-set engine RPM for the first set time from the vehicle controller (VCU), to actuate the engine by a variable auto idle engine RPM that is changed according to the traveling average value of the worker-set engine RPM for said first set time when the work is temporarily stopped to convert into an auto idle engine RPM.
