Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling charging and discharging of a power station equipped with a plurality of battery packs, the method being performed via a power station which is equipped with N (a natural number where N≥2) battery packs so that the battery packs can be electrically charged/discharged, and includes a main controller for controlling the charging/discharging. The method comprises the steps in which: the main controller controls N input relay units connecting the N battery packs to an external charging source so as to charge the battery packs according to a determined charging sequence; and when a load is connected from the outside during the charging procedure, the main controller calculates the amount of power required by the load, controls N output relay units connecting the N battery packs to the load, and connects as many of the battery packs as the number corresponding to the calculated amount of power to the load so as to discharge the battery packs, wherein the charging and discharging of the battery packs are concurrently performed.
