Abstract:

Disclosed are a method for controlling a congestion in a wireless communication system and a device for same. More particularly, a method for executing a congestion control by a network node in a wireless communication system can comprise the steps of: detecting the congestion of one or more dedicated core networks (DCN) served by means of a network node; receiving a non-access stratum (NAS) request message from user equipment (UE); obtaining subscription information, which comprises the UE usage type of the UE, from a home subscriber server (HSS); selecting a DCN for serving the UE on the basis of the UE usage type; and, if the DCN for serving the UE is the DCN of which the congestion has been detected, transmitting to the UE an NAS reject message, which comprises a backoff timer of the selected DCN, as a response to the NAS request message.
