Abstract:
A method of properly controlling a cooling fan (305) according to whether an external storage device is mounted or not in an information processing equipment allowing the external storage device to be mounted therein, comprising the step of regulating a voltage supplied to the cooling fan (305) according to a measured temperature near a central processing unit (401), referring to a temperature-supply voltage table selected according to whether the external storage device is mounted or not.
