Abstract:
Presented is a method for controlling a display device, comprising: recognizing the position of a user positioned in front of the transparent screen of a display device and the eye-gaze of the user looking at the transparent screen; recognizing the position of a background object positioned behind the transparent screen; and estimating, by the display device, the minimum angular variation of the eye-gaze through which a change can be sensed, on the basis of the distance between the transparent screen and the user and the direction of the eye-gaze of the user, so as to display related information about the background object on the transparent screen if the background object is positioned within the minimum angular variation of the eye-gaze from the current eye-gaze of the user.
