Title:
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING GENESIS AND/OR DIFFERENTIATION OF EMBRYO
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/117968
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a method for controlling the genesis and/or differentiation of an embryo by easily and rapidly controlling the obstruction of activation of the Wnt signal without using a genetic engineering method. As a solution, the present invention is a method for controlling the genesis and/or differentiation of an embryo by combining a first effect and another effect on a fertilized egg in vitro using a low-molecular weight organic compound having an effect activating the Wnt signal and a low-molecular weight organic compound having an effect obstructing the Wnt signal. A representative compound of the low-molecular weight organic compound having an effect obstructing the Wnt signal is methyl 2-hydroxy-3,6-dimethyl-4-(3-phenylpropioloyloxy) benzoate.
