Abstract:
A device for controlling the torque generated by an induction motor with high accuracy comprises a rotation detector (2) for detecting the rotational speed of an induction motor ; a current detector (3) for detecting the primary current of the induction motor ; amplifier means (6a) for amplifying the difference between an estimated primary current from a flux monitor and the primary current from the current detector (3); a flux monitor (4a) for estimating the secondary flux and primary current of the induction motor (1) based on the rotational speed obtained from the rotation detector (2) and on the difference signal obtained from the amplifier means (6a); and control means (5) for controlling the voltage to be applied to the induction motor based on the estimated secondary flux obtained from the flux monitor. The amplifier means (6a) amplifies the difference of the primary current according to the feedback gain consisting of eight independent elements, allowing torque control with high accuracy, especially, during low-speed operation.
