Abstract:
There is a need for a service that provides a non-virtual environment in addition to a virtual environment in a cloud environment in order to run an operation requiring high performance. Providing such a cloud system requires a technique for monitoring a virtual/non-virtual mixed environment; however, conventional infrastructure management techniques cannot obtain information as to what is virtual or non-virtual, preventing infrastructure managers and user managers from determining items to be monitored. In order to address this problem, the present invention manages information about whether each server is in a virtual environment or non-virtual environment, prepares management information for user managers about items to be monitored for virtual/non-virtual environments, and manages calculation methods for items to be monitored in each environment and items to be monitored relating to infrastructure.
