Abstract:
A method for controlling the Mooney viscosity of a peroxide vulcanized fluororubber, comprising: in the polymerization process of a peroxide vulcanized fluororubber, using a continuous supplementation mode to add an initiator solution, and continuing the supplementation until 5-10 minutes before the end of the polymerization reaction, wherein the addition amount of the initial initiator solution is 0.1-0.5% of the total amount of a polymerized monomer dry material; the amount of the continuously supplemented initiator solution is 0.1-2% of the polymerized monomer dry material. By controlling the addition amount and the addition mode of the initiator, the Mooney viscosity value of the peroxide vulcanized fluororubber is effectively controlled within the expected range, and has small fluctuations. A peroxide vulcanized fluororubber having a controllable and stable quality is obtained without adding a chain transfer agent, which reduces the amount of assistants in the polymerization process, improves the reaction activity of a polymerization system, effectively shortens the polymerization time, and is beneficial to industrial production.
